center for pastoral leadership - wickliffe, ohio
New Holland Church Furniture built and installed a new Reredos for Center for Pastoral Leadership. Its design was inspired by the Trevi Fountain in Rome, while drawing on the chapel's existing architecture. Its large capitals were carved in Italy, matching the capitals in the chapel's statue niches. The chapel is on the 2nd floor, so each piece had to be lifted through a window by crane. This incredible piece will stand as a dramatic backdrop behind a wonderful sanctuary.
ST. john the baptist church, landeck rd. - delphos, oh
The Altar of Sacrifice at St. John the Baptist Church is made of plain sawn red oak with a decorative mosaic panel in the center, featuring the Lamb of God. The marble mensa on top is two pieces glued together - one original stone from St. John's previous Altar, and one new larger stone, cut around the antique mensa and glued into a full slab.
Sagrada familia church - cleveland, oh
Designed by Henninger's and fabricated by New Holland Church Furniture, this high Altar is an impressive focal point at Sagrada Familia Church. It stands 21 1/2 feet tall and is 27 1/2 feet wide. Its Spanish style was inspired by the church's community of Hispanic Catholics.

To contrast the marble furnishings in the main church, Henninger's supplied St Raphael with wooden chapel furnishings. A wooden altar was built with faux marble inlays to match the rest of the marble in the main church area.

In 2015, Henninger's worked with St. Agnes-Our Lady of Fatima in designing elements for their new church. Fr Marva wanted to use current items from his church as well as items from Henninger's used inventory. In reviewing what was available, Fr. Marva selected an Altar of Sacrifice from the since-closed St. Lawrence Church in Cleveland. The altar was used to create a new altar as well other "new" pieces of furniture.
St Jerome Church - Walbridge, OH
Fr. Eric of St Jerome was able to find an Altar of Repose from a church that had closed in upstate New York. With most of the furniture chosen and figured into the architectural plans, Henninger's faced the question of how to make all of the furniture match. The used Ambo selected was made of rich wood, while some of the other pieces (the Altar of Repose, the Altar of Sacrifice, the Side Altars, and two pedestals) were all various shades of white or cream, and some were actually made of plaster instead of wood. Henninger's went to work priming and painting all of the furniture so they would match the Ambo.

When Notre Dame Cathedral High School set out to build a new chapel they contacted Henninger's to supply the space with new stained glass windows as well as new furnishings. The school and team at Henninger's worked together to design new two-toned modern wood furnishings. Henninger's craftsmen worked diligently in building this one of a kind altar for their new space.

Christ the Servant Parish is a merge 2 parishes, Our Lady of Peace and Saint Paul’s, that came together on the Feast of Christ the King, November 21, 2010. In 2012 an extensive renovation program was begun on the church, incorporating important memento's from the former St. Paul in Canton Church. For the new church renovation, Henninger's designed an altar, ambo, baptismal font, and tabernacle stand for the new parish, along with other new furnishings.

When St. Elizabeth Hospital made plans to modify their Chapel space to better serve their staff, their patients, and any visitors to the hospital, they realized that changes were necessary. The hospital contacted Henninger's to design new liturgical appointments that could utilize the marble that would be available from the no-longer-being-used existing Altar. Henninger's designed appointments with marble tops with wood to complement the beauty of the Bottacino marble. Henninger's also used the symbol from the tabernacle as a motif to continue on the front of the appointments. Once the furniture was assembled, the wood was stained in a natural finish, the marble tops - cut from the original Altar by Henninger's - were attached, and the symbols were attached to the front of the pieces and the furniture was readied for delivery. When the space was ready for the new furniture to be installed, Henninger's delivered and installed the furniture into the newly renovated chapel to be enjoyed by staff, patients, and all those visiting the hospital in need of a place of quiet prayer.
St john neumann church - sunbury, oh
Along with the stained glass windows, St. John Neumann contracted Henninger's to handle the woodworking on altars and statue niches for their church expansion. The centerpiece of the church is an antique back altar that was rescued by Fr. Kevin Lutz and restored by Henninger's. Our woodworkers replaced all of the missing pieces, milled new pillars, expanded the width by adding left and right wings, and repaired any damage to the altar. After our crew installed the altar, the staining, painting, gilding, murals, and all finishing was done by Conrad Schmitt Studios. Two side altars were made new to match the style of the antique back altar. Like the back altar, Henninger's handled the woodworking and Conrad Schmitt Studios did the finishing and murals. The Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Joseph Statues were original to St. John Neumann Church. Henninger's repaired and repainted them in a new color scheme.

In March of 2012, St John Medical Center remodeled their hospital chapel. For the chapel renovation, Henninger's designed an altar and ambo along with other new furnishings. Both altar and ambo were designed with stone inlays to match the back wall in the new chapel.

St Mary Stars of the Sea Church contacted Henninger's inquiring about a new Altar of Sacrifice. To match the marble in the Sanctuary of the church, Henninger's constructed a new wooden altar and added a faux marble finish, with a marble top.

A tragic fire in July of 2012 left the community at St. Mary Magdalen of Kentwood, Michigan without a church. To start the rebuilding process, the church hired Gilbert Sunghera, SJ as a liturgical consultant for the new church. Gilbert designed an Altar of Sacrifice, Tabernacle Altar, and Ambo for St. Mary Magdalen Church. The design incorporated the mensa from St. Christine and used its shape as an inspiration for the other pieces of furniture. Each element featured a travertine top with a wood base and steel reveal. Species of wood and finishes for the wood and steel were selected. The Altars and Ambo were built in Henninger's shop and packed for delivery and installation. Each of the pieces were installed during the week of June 2nd, 2014.

In 2012, Father Jim Fitzpatrick asked parishioners of St. Bernard Church in Alpena, Michigan if they wanted to have an altar like the one that was removed from the church in the mid-1960s. Within weeks, fundraising made that dream a possibility. Fr. Fitzpatrick contacted Henninger's in July, 2014 to investigate options, a design was approved, and in March of 2015 work began. Piece by piece, the 30 foot altar was built in Henninger's warehouse. Columns were turned, Gothic arches were shaped, and tracery panels were assembled. After the altar was complete, it was painted to match the old high altar from St. Bernard - in white with gold/bronze trim. Delivery and installation of the high altar took place October 29 - November 3. The church's statues of St. Patrick, St. Bernard, the Crucified Christ, along with the tabernacle were inserted perfectly into the new altar. Lighting in each niche was added to highlight each statue.
