The candle is fifty-one percent beeswax and a special mounting process insures the wax applique embellishments remain securely in place. The metallic bronze cross features Celtic designs and jewel-shaped embellishments. Its three-tiered base contains the key symbols of a Paschal candle: the Alpha and Omega, Lamb of God and the current year.
